I've got a peach gold Rex on order. He's got the perfect facial structure so that I can do a Jonathan Rhys Meyers as Henry VIII character. I'm so excited.

Rex is easily one of my favourite EID models *ever*. Wow! I love his full set - the detail is seriously impressive. I would also *love* to see his wig become a regularly available item (more colour options too! ^_^). We really do need more/better styles for the guys.

This is about the most authentic modern BJD soldier full set I've seen anywhere! I LOVE that wig. But the uniform, insignia, boots, & paraphernalia are so real looking. I'm retired military myself so this just thrills me :d

Another wonderful sculpt. One of your best. I think he is wonderful. Soldiers risk and give their lives to protect others, so I think it is fine to have a soldier character. Love the wig, too.

I wonder if the size is too big if compare to the new yid boy? Because I just got my first Iplehouse doll and that's the new yid boy.
I think the theme or the character, Rex is targeted to the male customers than to females.
Games such as Halo and Call of Duty on Xbox are very popular to boys.
It's really simple. If you don't like his outfits and you like Vampires - then buy or make Vampire outfits for him.
His face-up and sculpt is totally irresistible.

I don't think that this doll glorifies war or killing. Of course you can say "war is evil", but it's not that easy. Do you think that a surgeon loves to see people bleeding? Does an anti-drug centre field worker enjoy people on drugs? I don't think so. I worked with soldiers as an operator - and trust me, they hate killing. "But when someone (local radicals usually) attacks a humanitarian convoy you protect, you must do your job, like it or not." That's what they said.

I've noticed a lot of wig modifications on the photos recently. Would be nice to have that as an option for those who are not comfortable cutting and styling the wigs. We need better wigs for the guys. As for this mold, I do like the face a lot and will probably order him but the outfit doesn't interest me at all. Not into military stuff or camouflage patterns. Would be nice to see pics of him in normal and peach gold options.

After the Osama Bin Laden movie, I can say that I don't usually support war heroes being idolized, but this character reminds me of the soldiers who took out the 9/11 ringleader so I'm all for this war hero idol, after all, they are real people who deserve our support (and often don't get it upon returning to the states, thanks to corrupt political parties I don't have to name), even if there are unjust or mismanaged wars for profit to be aware of. And the mold itself is gorgeous, probably their most handsome EID face yet and certainly not a copy of other molds. Also looks like a bit like that Supernatural TV series guy, which will make a lot of people very happy.

I love Rex. I wish there was a no facial hair option. I also wish there was a lighter hair colour option. But this doll is fantastic. Why no dog tags for sale with him? He's not complete without dog tags!
His lips are amazing. This facial sculpt is outstanding. And YAY for a nice short haired wig. I hope this wig becomes available (or something similar) as a regular item.

Rex is a great tribute doll to those that risk their lives to preserve ours! Plus he is very handsome. When I saw the photos I literally said "WOW" and I ordered the full set right away.

My godson is a decorated marine and appreciates this figure as a tribute to his hard work and sacrifice. He still suffers from PTSD.
I wish hr was in the JID size. Love everything about him but the size but I understand why he is in the EID size.

Very wonderful facial sculpt. His outfit is authentic looking. My only request would be to do this same doll and outfit in SID size.
No one likes war but we must celebrate those who are placed in harms way for our sake. Thank you Iplehouse for your tribute to those protectors.

Seems to be an interesting mold, but for me he seems just like another way to glorify war, war is a very bad and evil thing, there is no need to make a modern war doll in my opinion. Historic uniforms and weapons- ok,, like the Western Series or Tokyo Story- modern war- NO! Especially the pictures of him with the weapons are quite shocking and may hurt the feelings of the ones, who gone through war.
